Members of the Forum attended this year’s Mental Health show held on in City Hall, Cardiff on Thursday 11th May to raise awareness of who we are and the work we do.
This was our second time exhibiting at the event and once again it did not disappoint. Forum members had an extremely busy day chatting to people about the forum, attending seminars and signing visitors up to our newsletter, and we were overwhelmed with the amount of interest we received from visitors and exhibitors who were keen to be involved with the forum.
Visitors to our stand were able to take away information about the forum and were also informed about our website and other social media where they can keep up to date with what we’ve been up to and our future work.
The show included a selection of seminars focused on topics such as coping with mental illness, ways to promote positive mental health, and how to support people around you who are suffering with poor mental health. Alongside this is an exhibition with over 60 charities, organisations and companies promoting their helpful resources, services and initiatives designed to support positive mental health and wellbeing.
